Greetings from the land of the allergy stricken.

I'm posting to say howdy and that the trees are budding here and almost literally kicking my butt.

I haven't been around as much as I've been sniffling (and sleeping) up a storm.

It's also my daughter's birthday today.  Yay for Emma!  She turns ten this afternoon.  :)  Anyway, as I'm feeling moody and ill, I'm settling for using my 'what' icon, as that is my cute little girl.  Or, heck, if you really have a burning desire to see what she looks like, I'm quite certain that I posted pics last year on this day.  *g*

Anyway, I'm going back to bed.  I hope you all are doing well.  :)

Allergies suck. Mine got better when I moved out here, but they haven't gone away entirely. As a kid, I had them so bad I had to get shots and stuff. Living in NC (with all the lush green) didn't help. Now, there are two months a year that I have to take Zyrtec. Other than that, I do all right.

Have some chicken soup. They say it helps biochemically and plus... it's just soothing.

I just recently developed allergies a few years ago. I find it completely ridiculous. I've never tried Zyrtec for them, but I'm considering trying something different this year. I take Allegra-D, but I still end up with sinus infections all the time. Pretty much the month of March for me is spent with my face in a tissue. Ew. (And sorry for sharing).

If I could take the heat, I'd seriously consider moving to AZ.

ps. How are you?

I'm doing well, thanks. I'm feeling all peaceful and groovy and spiritual today. Very into the Lent thing this year. I am just all smiles which is really unusual for me (I'm more serious normally).

Zyrtec is from heaven. I strongly suggest giving it a try.

WHAT!? In February? I am appalled.

Well, I certainly hope the stupid trees get their act together and stop that sometimes soon so you can feel better. And happy birthday to Emma!

Seriously. FEBRUARY. I woke up Sunday morning and was like, 'No freaking way. It can't be.' And then I went for a walk on Monday and sure enough, the little buds were on the trees and I was completely growly. Stupid trees. Who needs to breathe, anyway? *g*

Me and a chainsaw? Totally. But then, there's just so many...

Happy Birthday Emma!!

Wow... ten that's hugeee! Congrats momma. :)

Boo to allergies. I am allergic to dust and so face what you are going thru pretty frequently. I use Allegra and that works for me. Hope you feel better soon!

I just have to jump in say that your icon is SO funny, and lovely, that it keeps making me break out in random chuckles.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO EMMA! *blows lotsa kisses*

I hope you are feeling better by now, hon. I'm with Mo about the Zyrtec. I have to take it year round. It is one of my bestest friends. *nods* You can go to Sam's and get a two pack cheap. Ask the doc and try it. ;)

*smooches* ♥

Very belated happy birthday to Emma, and hugs to seegrim. *pouts at your allergies* Shall I send snow miser to freeze the pollen out of those buds? Witches--not that I am one, but one can wish--can supposedly conjure storms, dontcha know. Seriously, I'm stopping by after being absent for ages because I suddenly felt inexplicably concerned about you. I hope you are okay, mostly okay, or at least hanging in there. Sending hugs your way just in case.

Thank you, slitherhither. That means a lot to me. I have been feeling rather sick and blue, and even though spring means allergies, I'm really ready for winter to be over. It's just depressing me this year...
